I have been rendering tutela as writ for protection of constitutional rights, but I was surprised to see that the author chose to keep the term in Spanish in the bookI suppose the logic is that 'amparo' proceedings as such don't exist in the US, UK, or Canada. Ojo, amparo cases generally don't establish precedent.
