what is the easiest way to do subtitles?



A friend just pointed me to the site dot sub as a free and easy way to do subtitles.

Has anyone used this? Liked it?

Any other suggestions for subtitling that's easier and more accesible to activists than full on video editing software?

    I have done subtitles for a while in social justice settings, and I've always used Subtitle Workshop.

    Es software 100% gratis creado por un grupo de programadorxs de Uruguay. Se usa mucho para subtitular bootlegs en Sudamérica, y es un software muy muy facil de usar, con muchas opciones de exportar.
